Filling My Plate Too Full

I’ve always said that as long as I can stay busy, I’ll stay out of trouble. I honestly love working, I love cleaning, I love learning and helping. But I wish there was more free time to myself so I would be less stressed. When the opportunity comes about for me to be able to volunteer for something, I usually jump at the chance, not realizing how much more stressful it makes my life.
However, these days I seem to be keeping myself a little too busy. I’ve filled my plate too full.

What’s Free Time?

I volunteered last year to become the School Cent’s Coordinator for the PTO at my son’s school. Even though I barely had time to schedule posts, emails and promote it last year, I jumped at the chance to do it again this year.
I also applied to grad school a few months ago, so now I’ll be getting my Masters in Applied Behavioral Analysis.
While working part-time and raising two kids.
AAHHH! Why do I do this to myself? We usually spend every weekend doing something fun with the kids, and when they sleep do I relax? Nope. I usually am cleaning, or working on sponsored posts for my own blog.

This month I finally made the choice that this would be my very last post writing for East Valley Moms Blog. It was a hard choice to make because I have found a great network of women that I can relate to writing for East Valley Moms Blog, as well as their fun events they put on. It’s just a small step towards making more time for myself and my sanity, maybe someday I’ll learn to say “No” a little bit easier, but like I said before, I love keeping busy, even if it stresses me out a little.
