2019 Snow in the East Valley

Snow is coming to the east valley! May sounds crazy, but believe it! 

You don’t have to drive hours from your home to have a snow day! There are quite a few of local businesses that are bringing the snow to you! 

Keep checking back, we will continually update the list as we find more snow in the valley! 

Snow at Desert Ridge Marketplace

November  25th-December 31st

Desert Ridge Marketplace is transformed into a living snow globe with nightly snowfall at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. every evening. Plus, enjoy holiday shows featuring local community groups throughout the season. Tree Lighting and First Snowfall on November 25th at 6:45 pm.


Rawhide Snowy Christmas

November 28th– December 22nd 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

FREE Admission into Rawhide! Parking $5
Open every Friday, Saturday & Sunday from November 28th – December 22nd 

Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays: 5:00pm-10:00pm

Thanksgiving Thursday: Open 11:00am

Entire town decorated for the holidays, 100′ Christmas tree (lighting just after 6pm by Santa), Nightly Santa visits every weekend, and we even make it snow!!

Come out and get your holiday photos taken with Santa and your family. Enjoy the Rawhide attractions and live action stunt shows.


Children’s Museum of Phoenix 

Saturday, December 14th 9:00 am till snow melts

40 tons of snow! Starts 9:00 am until the snow melts.  Snow activities are free with a paid Museum admission of $11/person. Visits with Santa 10:30am-12:00pm | 12:30om-2:00pm


Mother Nature’s Farm

Saturday, December 14th 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

Kids are $10.00 that includes the snow hill all day, the hayride, maze, air bounce and the animals, the adults are $5.00 to tag along. Maneau’s Munchies will be open on the weekends for snack food, etc hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, chips, soda and hot drinks. 


Arizona Science Center 

December 30th – January 3rd

Ready to build a snowman in downtown Phoenix? Don’t miss SNOW WEEK at Arizona Science Center! Enjoy OVER 60 TONS OF SNOW plus mind-blowing snow- and ice-related science activities, demos and films.
