There is one thing that I love almost as much as my children in this world…coffee. So when Peixoto Coffee opened in downtown Chandler, I headed over to their grand opening and have since become a regular. Peixoto Coffee is a new coffee lounge and roaster that has a unique and cool vibe. Think “urban rustic”. Unlike other coffee shops and micro-roasters, Peixoto Coffee is a family based business whose beans come from their farm in the southeast of Brazil, making it a true crop-to-cup experience.

Besides Peixoto Coffee having a cool vibe and true “mom and pop” shop appeal, their coffee is good…I mean really good. I do not claim to be a coffee conoiusseuer but similar to wine, coffee has different bitternesses, finishes, and aromas. I have had quite a few different types of their drinks from lattes to their cascara made from coffee cherry skins. They all have a unique smoothness and flavor to them. Even their Arnold Palmer is not your run of the mill tea and lemonade.image_92 copy

Owner Julie Peixoto Peter’s family has been growing coffee in Brazil for over 150 years and believe in coffee in its purest and freshest form, with the coffee bean as the star and not with additives and other products that detract from it. Every Sunday, they also feature local artisan pop-ups in their space, including breads, pastries, breakfast options, etc.

You can find her family’s story here!

If you are looking for a new type of coffee joint to hang at (other than those “other” commercial places), Peixoto Coffee is sure not to disappoint!
