Our primary goal in creating East Valley Moms Blog is to connect moms online, as well as offline through events designed to create a meaningful and lasting community. We know that being a mom is the most rewarding job we can do, but it’s also the hardest. We all need some support now and then from others who know just what we are going through! We have loved getting to know some of you through our play dates and other events, but now we are also looking to incorporate some more intimate ways for moms to connect with one another.
We’ve decided to create Neighborhood Groups that will help you all facilitate playdates, mommy meet ups, learn more about your specific neighborhood or simply post a question to a group of moms. Whether you’re a new mom, new to the city, or just want to meet new friends, these groups will be the perfect way to connect with moms in your area.
(if there is not a * or link to click there is no group yet)
Neighborhood Group FAQs
Can I join more than one group? Yes! If you live near bordering groups feel free to make the request a neighboring group.
Do I have to be a mom to join? YES! For the privacy of our members you MUST be a mom to join.
Can business owners join groups? Yes, you may join our neighborhood groups as a mom/parent however you may NOT advertise your business or solicit group members for your business or products. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in immediate removal. If you would like to reach all of our readers please contact Michelle Alexander at [email protected].
Is there a group for dads? Not yet! If we receive a large amount of requests for dads we will look further into starting a group just for dads.
What about outlying areas like Coolidge, Florence, Maricopa or Casa Grande? Unfortunately at this time we do not have the woman power to cast a net that far and include those areas. We welcome readers in those cities to join a group that is closer to them though!
