Spring is in the air! It’s one of my favorite seasons here in Phoenix. The weather is gorgeous and Spring Training is in full swing! As a beauty expert and aesthetician, I always love spring because it’s our first introduction in the new year to bold colors and renewed skin after the cold winter months. Now is the best time to give your makeup and skincare a fresh start. Try incorporating one of these easy trends. I like to think of Spring as the “beauty swap season”. Instead of trying multiple trends, start by incorporating just one. Step out of your comfort zone and try something new. I know you’ll love it!
- Bold Pink Lips: Bye, bye nude lips. This Spring try the pink approach. Pink is perfect when lipstick is bold and matte. When pulling off pink, make sure that the rest of your makeup look is natural and subtle. Pink is a great swap for those red-lipstick-kind-of-days. Great for a date night or for MNO. - Navy Mascara: Yes, navy! This is one of my all time favorite tips. Instead of using black or brown-black mascara try using a dark navy. It instantly makes the whites of your eyes look brighter (so good for us mommas, right?) and enhances grey, brown, and green eye color. Make sure to select a dark navy not bright blue. - Milk Facial Cleanser: Milk cleaners are great to increase skin hydration and its gentle on the skin. Spring is a great time to reevaluate your skin care regimen and to customize your routine. If you’ve never tried a milk cleanser, you should indulge in one this spring! Click here for a great milk cleanser.
If you try any of these spring beauty treads, I’d love to see your Instagram pictures. Please be sure to use the hashtag #lovelywithlaurenEVMB. Can’t wait to see all your beautiful pictures! xo, Lauren
