Lazy Plant-Based Holiday Meals

0

Being a vegan parent, I always appreciate when people go out of their way to serve us something plant-based. Even if it’s completely store bought. By this, I mean other than salad with dressing and a few bread rolls. My oldest son appreciates when he can indulge in an egg and dairy-free dessert. Whether you’re short on time, or just not a great cook like me, here are my favorite ideas for holiday meals.

Main Course

Vegetarian Plus – Vegan Ham Roll

Field Roast – Celebration Roast

Gardein – Holiday Roast (Definitely my favorite)

Side Dishes

Mashed Potatoes made with potato water, almond milk. Likewise, a baked potato topped with Daiya Shreds and Earth Balance butter.

Corn on the Cob, cooked or sautéed veggies.

Simple Pumpkin Soup

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with salt and pepper

Green Bean Casserole

Desserts

Banquet Apple Pie

Daiya Cheezecake (New York, Chocolate, Strawberry, Pumpkin Spice, Key Lime)

Black Bean Brownies (GF)

Even just one thing on this list could make that vegan or vegetarian feel special on a holiday! Happy Holidays!
