Getting Spooky: Halloween Treat Bags

 Getting Spooky-

Ok, over here at EVMB you could say we have a tiny obsession with all things fall!

Today we’re looking ahead to October 31st, which is that S P O O K Y day that all us Mummies go nuts for! A lot of us have a social calendar full of pumpkin patch playdates, haunted houses and classroom parties to attend. I always like to do a little themed gift for whoever we are meeting up with- perfect excuse for some craftastrophe if you ask me.

This candle is the MIC DROP of pumpkin candles-and is exactly what we’re giving our teachers as a “Congrats, you made it to fall break!” gift. Since almost all of my daughter’s little friends are young & I’m super that annoying anti-candy, anti-fun Mom, we opted against the sugar and will treat them with little toys-stickers-stamps, etc. I went with some Halloween-themed rubber duckies for this post-but anything from Oriental Trading does the TRICK (or treat…see what I did there? HA!)

I threw a couple of ducks in these “GOODIES” bags, which can be found at Melrose Vintage.

Using a Halloween stamp and orange ink, I juiced them up a bit. Then I added some adorable SNOW WHITE tags I made with a Disney stamp and ink stain, used a hole punch and tied with ribbon. I also cut up some Halloween cardstock to use as tags. Some may say over the top for her little friends; I say a little extra packing makes the whole gift!!

As you can see, not just any ribbon-but a custom printed satin ribbon that reads “xoxo, and {my daughters name.}” Seriously! Works just like a label maker and is great quality. It’s my absolute favorite purchase recently and has made gift giving so much more special. Find it here.

Happy Halloween like 6 weeks early, Mamas!!! Hope to meet you all at the East Valley Moms Blog “Mummies Night Out!!!”
