How many of you are expecting a little person in a red and white suit to come visit you soon?  We aren’t talking about Santa here-we are talking about Elf on the Shelf!

I know our kids really look forward to our elves (yes we have two), Jack and Jill Sprinkles to come visit each year!  In our house Jack and Jill Sprinkles don’t really do anything too naughty but they do love to cause some mischief!  If you want to find out some fun Elf ideas you can check them out on my blog here.  And later this week I’ll have for you a new 2013 Elf calendar to make things easy for you!

Today Jack and Jill Sprinkles and their friends at Elf on the Shelf(c) want to introduce you to the Elf on The Shelf Birthday Traditions book!

From the folks at Elf on the Shelf:

“In Santa’s Christmas village at the North Pole, the scout elves have their own special way of celebrating birthdays—a tradition that goes back many generations. Now, at the request of children around the world, Santa has given special permission for his elves to share that tradition with the families who love them. The Elf on the Shelf®: A Birthday Tradition tells the little-known story of how Santa’s finest helpers celebrate birthdays at the North Pole—and how you can invite your elf to share that tradition with YOU! Each kit includes special instructions for families on how to invite their scout elf for a birthday visit, and a festive birthday outfit for your elf to slip into before your big day!”

The book also includes a special Claus Couture Collection® Birthday Outfit just for the elf. Written in signature rhyme by best-selling authors Carol Aebersold and Chanda Bell, and illustrated with Coë Steinwart’s classic watercolor art, the book represents the first original title from this award-winning team since the publication of The Elf on the Shelf in 2005.  (Elf not included.)
