My mom is the absolute sweetest mom EVER! Her love of taking care of children filtered over into my sister and I and now she is the lucky grandma to 7 amazing grandchildren! I’m happy to have my mom as one of my best friends and she even doesn’t flinch when I drop f-bombs left and right (thanks Dad for that!). One of my favorite things my mom says is in regards to how mosquitos love me, she always says “well they only like the sweet ones!” Love you Mom!

Something my mom always said to us as kids growing up, that I now say to mine is “Don’t just look with your eyes, look with your hands!” I thought she was crazy nuts, but it works! You do find more when you look with your hands too! LOL! I love my fun & cool mom, she’s the greatest!

My mom is the first person I call when anything important happens in my life, good or bad. I have called a time or two when I was too choked up for words and she immediately would know what to say to get me through it. Then at the end of our conversation she has always said “now go wash your face”. Somehow washing my face after a good cry always seemed to not only wash away the salty tears but also the burden of what I had been crying about. She is my rock and I am so blessed to have her as my mom.

My mom always told me that when life gives me lemons I should make lemonade. Simple, I know, but there have been many instances where this simple advice comes in handy. Especially in the tough times I’ve had this year, my mom’s support and love have meant so much.
