Join us for a fun morning out celebrating new, expecting and current moms! We are excited to bring this event to you along with City Moms Blog Network & Dr. Smiths!

What is BLOOM::

A morning of learning and fun in honor of Mother’s Day

Why should you attend BLOOM:

If you are expecting for the first or third time, have a newborn at home or are working your way through the toddler years and thinking of expanding your family in the future, this event is for you!

With 3 ticket options some guests will leave with a bag stuffed to the brim with swag, meet and chat with other local moms, enter some fabulous giveaways and receive valuable information from local experts on topics pertaining to parenting.

How much is Bloom?

Admission only:$8 includes brunch,drinks & 1 raffle ticket

General Admission:$12 includes brunch, drinks, swag bag & 1 raffle ticket

VIP:$20 includes brunch,drinks,swag bag,2 raffle tickets,chair massage from LifeQuest and access to our VIP lounge where you’ll be able to speak one-on-one with our expert panel

PLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT IS DESIGNED FOR EXPECTANT AND NEW PARENTS BUT ALL MOMS ARE WELCOME. BABIES OVER A YEAR WILL NOT BE PERMITTED UNLESS A CHILDCARE TICKET IS PURCHASED. DUE TO SPACE CONSTRAINTS, ANY BABIES MUST BE IN A CARRIER AS THERE IS NOT ROOM FOR STROLLERS AT THIS EVENT.

Each admission ticket to Bloom includes one (1) raffle ticket.  Additional raffle tickets will be for sale and 100% of raffle ticket proceeds benefit The Sojourner Center.

Jody Drange, RD, CDE, ACSM EP-C

Lactation Consultant at Banner Desert Medical Center and Cardon Children’s Medical Center.

Doreen is a member of the International Lactation Consultants Association (ILCA), the Association for Women’s Health and Neonatal Nursing (AWHONN), Central Arizona Lactation Association (CALCA), United States Lactation Consultant Association (USLCA), Arizona Breastfeeding Coalition (ABC) and Le Leche League International (LLLI). She has worked at Banner Desert and Cardon Children’s for more than 16 years and has been working fulltime as a Lactation Consultant for 9 years. During that time she has been teaching the Prenatal Breastfeeding Class and she also started a weekly Breastfeeding Support Group to help new mothers meet their breastfeeding goals. Doreen has mentored several RNs to assist them in becoming Lactation Consultants. Doreen volunteers by helping mothers over the phone with breastfeeding questions.

Child Passenger Safety Specialist at Phoenix Children’s Hospital

She has been a child passenger safety technician for close to 10 years and a Special Transportation Needs Instructor for 6 years.  Angelica is passionate in reducing the number of children injured or killed in motor vehicle crashes and supported Arizona’s booster seat law.  As part of the Injury Prevention Center, Angelica works with patients and families, to determine the safest way to travel home.  She also works in the community providing classes and car seats to families.
