Hi Friends! We would like to introduce you all to AZ Momtourage: premier Events for Moms and Moms-to-Be. Allison, the founder, is an ASU graduate who, after getting married, moved with her husband to Chicago. Allison and her husband were living in Chicago when she got the exciting news that she was pregnant. She discovered that spending her time at home alone searching online for information on pregnancy and parenting got lonely. She had questions and discovered that being with other moms and expectant moms was way more informative and fun than her endless online searches. Allison and her husband returned back to Arizona in 2013 and she was on a hunt for more mom activities. And that’s how AZ Momtourage came to be. Allison realized that if she wanted to regularly meet with other fun and social moms that she was going to have to do something about it.

AZ Momtourage has a lot of fun and exciting events coming up with great giveaways at each event . The kick off event is March 29 at Grimaldi’s Pizza in old town Scottsdale. It includes a pediatrician panel as well as dinner. Other upcoming events include a “Beautiful Bellies” program where pregnant moms get a free work out at Lululemon, brunch with a guest speaker from All Schools Considered, and a dinner with a lactation specialist. As a new mom Allison has questions just like the rest of us and she is finding the perfect people to answer them.

AZ Momtourage is offering one of our EVMB readers a free ticket to her event at Grimaldi’s Pizza (a $33 value). All you have to do is leave a comment below stating one question that you have as a mother or an expectant mother. The winner will be chosen at random on  March 8th (change of date) at 11:59 pm.

You can also find AZ Momtourage on Facebook here and Twitter here. Good luck!

**Congrats to Becca who is the winner of this giveaway!!

  1. When and for how long did you leave your LO for the first time? I.e. Vacation without child? How did you handle it? Any tips/advice?

    Thanks!

  2. I love your blog!! Great job!

My question is what is the best way to prepare my 2 year old for his new sibling coming in August? How can I make it an easy transition for him so he still feels loved and gets enough attention?

  3. I’m trying to read this while my three year old is having a screaming tantrum in the backroom – so my question is how do you safely allow a child to have a tantrum alone, by himself, without hurting himself or others, but still make it a punishment? I’m having such a difficult time with appropriate natural consequences for him! Sounds like an awesome event & company!

  4. How specific do I really have to be when creating a “birth plan?” I have seen samples of plans with things as specific as “I want to wear contact lenses” and “I want to wear socks.” I thought birth plans pertained to medical decisions. I don’t want to over think it, but I don’t want to be unprepared either!

  5. Having a hard time balancing time between my four kids to make sure each one gets enough special time with everyone’s crazy schedules. Any tips?
