Do you  like to ride your bike with friends and family?  You can make a  difference and save lives, just by riding your bike! You will use your  wheels to:

  • Raise money for your school (Scroll down to create your own fundraising page)
  • Raise money for the Brett Saks Foundation Junior Cyclist Program (so much fun!)
  • Keep kids and adults safe on their bikes and eventually help save more than 600+ lives each year
  • Win PRIZES (details coming!)

Here’s how:

Help as a Troop or Group:

We Need Loaner and Donor Bikes for Bike Land!

Please spread the word to family friends that our partner WE-CYCLE-USA, a non-profit that takes bikes of any shape, size, kind or condition and revamps or recycles them for those who can not afford their own. (Find  out more about WE-CYCLE-USA on their website at wecycleusa.org.)

WE-CYCLE-USA has been kind enough to offer to take the donated or loaner bikes and  service them so that they can be used at the event for those who do not  have a bike to bring. They will then make sure the donated bikes have a  home after the event with a deserving member of our community. Girl Scout Cadette Troop #1443 has been heading up this effort for the Brett Saks Foundation. Please email Deb Smith at wordsmithgirl(at)mac(dot)com if you have bikes you can donate or loan to the cause.

Please note: Bikes of any size or condition are needed. Bikes donated will be provided  with a receipt from WE-CYCLE-USA upon request and will be stored and  donated after the event. Loaner bikes will NOT be collected before the  event, but can be brought to the event for use that day. Thank you!
