Meet our executive team

Lisa Glowacka

EVMB (22 of 43)

Co-Founder; Social Media Manager

In 2013, Lisa was looking for a way to connect with other moms in the community while balancing 3 cute kids and a full-time career.  She discovered the City Moms Blog Network and was connected with Michelle Alexander.  A few phone calls and weeks later, East Valley Moms Blog was launched.  In addition to being mom and connecting with the community, Lisa works full-time in the financial services industry.  She loves balancing her analytical side with the creativity and connectiveness that East Valley Moms Blog brings.

She resides in Gilbert with her kids Riley (13), Madison (11) and Landon (8).  She’s crossing her fingers that she survives the teenage years while being a single-working mom.  In her free time, she enjoys working out, spending time with her girl tribe, reading books and blogs about personal growth and building her relationship with her boyfriend of 3 years.  She also loves to visit the many food festivals our community has to offer and is the self-proclaimed biggest Justin Timberlake fan on the planet.

Co-Founder; Advertising Coordinator

Michelle Alexander launched EVMB in August of 2013 with Lisa Glowacka. Michelle, formerly a contributing writer on the San Diego Moms Blog Team, was looking for something that would help her connect with others during her transition from California to Arizona. She met Lisa on the phone and the #1 Parenting Resource website in the East Valley was born. Michelle is newly single and living her best life. Michelle resides in downtown Chandler and is mom to Tyler (20) and Jicelle (7) who is an outspoken self proclaimed boss, going on “25”. Michelle is devout in her faith and her work. She loves cooking and staying healthy by lifting weights and boxing. She also competes in fitness competitions and holds a Pro Bikini title. She loves her life and all that Arizona has had to offer since she has called it home.

Her most rewarding business endeavor has been managing sponsorship and advertising for East Valley Moms Blog. She loves the businesses she gets to meet and interact with as well as all of the amazing writers she has had the pleasure of meeting and admiring. Michelle is amazed by all that women accomplish everyday and how they devote the greatest passion and devotion to their “many hats”. She believes that calling the job of mom “easy” would be ludicrous because it is THE most difficult job (but extremely rewarding and fulfilling)!
