Spring Tempe Festival of the Arts

The Spring Tempe Festival of the Arts is back for its 40th year!

As many as 350 artist booths line Mill Avenue and the surrounding streets presenting unique, and hand-made artwork that offers visitors a distinctive shopping experience.

Live entertainment stages will provide entertainment for festival-goers. Performances by a number of well-known local musicians keep audiences in high spirits throughout the day.

And while you are at the festival, take a break from the crowds and check out some of our downtown restaurants, pubs, breweries and shops.   You’ll find great spots that will keep you coming downtown all year long.

Burger Battle Returns with New Location, More Burgers, More Fun and a Sizzling Hot Competition! Presented by Budweiser, hungry patrons will enjoy tasting mouthwatering burger creations and voting for the best burger to bestow the People’s Choice Award. All admissions to Burger Battle include all the burger tastings you can eat, ice cold beer, wine, fries, desserts, lawn games and live entertainment by the Groove Merchants. This is a 21+ event, only.

Ostrich Festival

The Chandler Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 29th Annual Ostrich Festival Friday, March 10 through Sunday, March 12, 2017.

Kicking off the event will be the Mayor’s Fun Run and Parade on Saturday, March 4, 2017. The 2017 Ostrich Festival will take place at Chandler’s Tumbleweed Park at the corner of McQueen and Germann while the Mayor’s Fun Run will take place in Downtown Chandler.

Vertuccio Farms

$7 per person and ages 2 yrs and under free. Farm play area opens at 5pm. All activities, a train ride and movie included with admission. Movie starts at sundown.

Bring your own chairs and blankets. Food concessions available for purchase. Outside food allowed. No alcohol please. Family friendly movie TBA or follow us on facebook for more info.

The Cocktail Society

Save the date for an exciting new event, The Cocktail Society, Friday, April 7, 2017 from 7-11 p.m. 

Interactive libation experiences include aerial bartenders dropping down from the ceiling for service. Enjoy an abundance of electrifying entertainment, a pair of dueling DJ’s from Desert House Productions, shadow dancers, plus more!

All net proceeds raised will support the non-profit Scottsdale League for the Arts in its effort to promote arts and arts education organizations in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Scottsdale Culinary

Hosted by the Scottsdale League for the Arts, event highlights include 40 local restaurants, 30 craft breweries, 20 bands, a teen cooking challenge, chef demos, family zone, wine garden, and the Tito’s Handmade Vodka deck.
New to the Scottsdale Culinary Festival in 2017 is the Local Lounge presented by Hensley Beverage Co.

This year, the Scottsdale Culinary Festival will feature its first national headliner, LeAnn Rimes set to perform live on Saturday, April 8, 2017.
