Mad Greens Kids Menu Review

0

We recently tried the new Mad Greens at Dana Park, and we’re sharing what four, chicken nugget and fries loving kids, thought of a the Mad Greens kids menu.

Mad Greens brings fast and fresh food to another level when it comes to healthy eating, which yes, moms love, but here’s what worked and didn’t work with their kids meals.  (Here’s 10 sit down, local restaurants that parents love and are good for kids, too!)

My husband and I were impressed with the concept for MAD Greens kids menu.  They offer the Kids Super Box and Kids Awesome Box.

The boxes have dividers inside so that kids can pick the ingredients that they want as they go down the line.  My daughter picked out a great assortment of Penne noodles, carrot sticks, croutons, diced apples, grilled citrus chicken and strawberries.

My son chose to keep it classic with a grilled cheese and a fruit cup with diced pears and strawberries.

East Valley Moms writer, Nicole White, our resident foodie mama, and for her, the best points of the kids menu was the flexibility of the boxes for kids. (and that there wasn’t a chicken nugget in sight.)

Kids meals are fully customized to fit with what your kiddo likes or can eat. For Nicole’s son, who doesn’t have very many teeth, it was nice to be able to select softer veggies for for him to eat and things that are easy for him to pick up.
