EVMB: PNuts Review

Little PNuts is a quarterly subscription box full of happiness for your little one. They pride themselves in sending eco friendly, high quality toys right to your doorstep. Browsing around their website gives you a glimpse of the quality of toys they send out. The box we received for Roxie was perfect. They take their time picking out the most perfect toys to match your child’s age and development.

EVMB: PNuts Review

The first toy Roxie opened up was the Feeling and Touching game. I think this game might be a little advanced for her. She was having a hard time figuring out what to do with it. The game did come with instructions that included different development stages, but it did not hold her interest long enough to try to figure it out.

Next she opened these mix n match animal cards and they are priceless. Roxie loves animals and arranging things and this toy is the perfect combination of both. She can line up the colorful circles and then mix and match which animals go on top. Roxie is very meticulous about how she lines things up and it’s so fun to see her trying out the different animals on the different colors. Still a week later she keeps coming back to these and finding new ways to arrange them. EVMB: PNuts Review

The last and by far her most favorite toy from the box is this wooden camera. She runs up to me yelling “Cheeeeeese” and then runs away giggling. I think it’s fun for her to be on the other side of the camera for once. She carries it around with her everywhere and has so much fun looking at everything through it. EVMB: PNuts ReviewWhat I like about Little PNuts. I love the high quality toys. Our house is full of lots of plastic toys that after one child don’t seem to stand the test of time. All three of the toys we received appear as though they will last through my next child as well. I also love the fact that these are not toys that I would pick up in the store. I love finding new brands and these are not ones that I typically see while cruising the aisles at Target.  Getting a quarterly box in the mail of new toys is a brilliant concept. Opening up the box is just half the fun. Having new toys to play with and keep the little miss occupied is priceless. (I’m not even going to talk about how long she played with the box.)

What I did not like about Little PNuts. Probably the biggest thing that stands out to me is that you make monthly payments but only get boxes every three months. For some people that may not be a big deal, but when you’re living on a tight budget it seems hard to justify monthly payments on something like this. Of course, there is a good discount if you pay for a year subscription all at once (possibly a perfect idea for grandmas).

Conclusion. Overall I love the toys and the idea of getting new toys quarterly that are specific for my child. This would be a wonderful thing to gift someone if there is a special little one in your life. The reality is that they make toy shopping so much easier. You don’t have to worry about whether or not a toy or game is age appropriate because they have already done the research for you. You don’t even have to set foot in a store and then wonder whether or not the child will like the toy when it gets home. Chances are pretty good that each quarter your child will walk away with something that they will love for months to come!
