Who’s ready for fall?! Pumpkin spice everything is among us and we are all ready for the cooler weather! Why not enjoy it outdoors with your family? There are so many great fall events happening around the East Valley.

MESA FALL

Corn maze & Fall Festival September 26th – November 1st | Pricing: $9 per person ages 2 & younger free

Monday-Thursday 9am – 9pm
Friday-Saturday 9am – 10pm
Sunday 10am – 6pm

Dia De Los Muertos Festival: Mesa Arts Center | 1 East Main Street | 85201

Saturday 10-5pm / Sunday 12-5pm Parking and entrance FREE

The Day of The Dead festival will feature delicious foods, a colorful mercado featuring an assortment of Dìa de los Muertos merchandise, jewelry, arts and crafts.


 

GILBERT FALL

Gilbert Fall Carnival Crossroads Park | 2155 E Knox Rd | 85296
October 8th- 5pm-9pm; October 9th- 5pm-10pm; October 10th- Noon-10pm; October 11th- Noon-8pm
No admission to enter.  Wrist bands & tickets available to purchase at the event or online starting October 1st.

 

Mothers Natures Farm: 1663 E Baseline Rd | 85233
October 1st- 31st open daily: 9am-9pm | Entrance fee is $10.00 per child & Adults are $3.00 to tag along

Entrance includes: an OZ pumpkin, an individual bag of stickers, decorating your pumpkin, the air bounce, a hayride, straw bounce, feeding the animals and Alexander’s Adventure Maze

Food is available at Maneau’s Munchies; hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, drinks and much more


 

CHANDLER FALL

Halloween Spooktacular: Down town library plaza| 22 S Delaware St | 85225
Friday October 30th 5:30-8:30pm

We’re inviting all ghosts, goblins, ghouls, creatures, characters and superheroes to join us for an evening of safe family fun! There will be food, games, arts & crafts, costume contests, souvenir photos, and a Haunted House!

 

San Tan Brewing Oktoberfest: AJ Chandler Park | 3 S Arizona Ave | 85225
October 3rd 3-11pm
September 1st presale tickets go on sale for only $10 at Bashas’.
Tickets can be purchased at SanTan Brewing or Online for $12.
Tickets will be sold for $15 at the gate day of the event.

A portion of the event proceeds benefit St. Joseph the Worker

Oktoberfest has plenty to offer everyone including beer games, beer pong tournament, buddy carry, wiener dog races, bratwurst-eating contest and keg stacking, tricycle races and bag toss.

Chuck Wagon Cook-off:  Tumbleweed Park | 2250 S McQueen
November 6th 10-Noon; November 7th 9-2pm
Free admission

Experience a rare, up-close look at Western history at this FREE, family friendly culinary event. Authentic 1880s chuck wagons from around the Southwest compete to cook up the best meals fit for the trail using slow-cook, wood-fire methods from the time period. Wagon teams win prizes in various food categories, and the public can purchase these unique five-course chuck wagon meals from competitors.

Enjoy live music, cooking demonstrations, Western artisans, storytelling, unique vendors, group tours and more! The event supports the educational development of Tumbleweed Ranch.


 

QC FALL
Trunk or Treat: Desert Mountain Park | 22201 S. Hawes Road
Public parking & shuttle service will be available at the Queen Creek Library
Save the date for this unique annual event! Trunk or Treat provides a safe environment for families to enjoy an inexpensive evening of Halloween fun in a festival atmosphere!
Ghouls, goblins and ghosts of all ages will enjoy a festival of activities. So come out and join us for some ghoulish games, frightening food and freaky fun.
**Individuals or groups can sign up to host and decorate a trunk, and the Town provides all the candy to be given out at the event. HERE by October 9th. **

Benefiting Tempe Sister Cities, the Tempe Oktoberfest combines beer gardens, live music, a polka stage, great food including German fare, a carnival, kids activities and much more fun. There is a charge for food and drinks and some activities. For added fun, check out the new Fitness Expo, expanded Kinderfest with obstacle courses for the whole family, and a “vonderful” Volkswagen Vintage Bug and Bus Car show!


 

AJ FALL

PHOENIX FALL

Howl-O-Ween at the Phoenix Zoo: Phoenix Zoo | 455 North Galvin Parkway

Two Phoenix Zoo Halloween traditions in one! That’s right; this year Boo at the Zoo is joining forces with Howl-O-Ween for two nights of ghostly fun. Enjoy everything Boo at the Zoo offered, just in the evening. And thrill seekers need not worry, because all the scare Howl-O-Ween is known for is also planned.

Howl-O-Ween includes activities and experiences for the whole family. So whether you’re looking for scary tricks or sweet treats — Howl-O-Ween is a delightfully spooky event for all ages.

SCOTTSDALE FALL

Salt River Fields Balloon Spooktacular:  Salt River Fields | 755 N Pima Road

October 23rd & 24th; 5-10 pm

Bring the entire family to experience Halloween in a fun and safe environment.

Over 20 Hot Air Balloons on display and passing out 4,000 pounds of candy for trick-or-treaters, live music, food and beverage, a Kids Zone, vendor market, tethered balloon rides, a haunted house, fireworks and much more.

Experience the Balloon Spooktacular for a safe, fun filled Trick-or-Treating Halloween Festival.

  1. My family and I are looking forward to the Gilbert Fall Carnival this year. Our oldest daughter’s birthday is on Halloween day so we rarely get to celebrate her actual birthday separately from the holiday and the carnival seems like the perfect bday celebration!
