Ballet Arizona presents the US premiere of one of the most renowned ballets by legendary ballet choreographer August Bournonville.
Napoli is a festive and uplifting story of Gennaro, a poor fisherman, and his beloved Teresina. Teresina is washed away in a great storm only to be rescued by sea nymphs ruled by an evil sea spirit. The couple’s love must overcome trials and temptations so that light prevails over darkness in the best tradition of Romanticism.

The Cocktail Carnival presented by Arizona Cocktail Week-At the Oh Pool, Hotel Valley Ho.
The Cocktail Carnival is Arizona Cocktail Week’s signature kick-off party.
It’s a tasting event like no other. Walk through an array of tasting tables, bars and pool cabanas featuring some of the nation’s top liquor brands creating signature cocktail samples.
This year’s theme is the Dark Ages of the Cocktail Carnival; a whimsical event filled with Cirque du Soleil pool acts and cocktails galore. Featuring the classics that you love to hate such as the Appletini, Mind Eraser, Surfer on Acid, White Russian, Sex on the Beach and even the Harvey Wallbanger re-invigorated and re-imagined by some of the top mixologists in the country. Valentine’s day ride at Dolly Steamboat-Take your sweetheart on the twilight Dolly Steamboat dinner cruise on Canyon Lake on February 14 and 15, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Your cruise includes dinner. Advanced prepaid reservations required. The Dolly Steamboat is a 103 foot replica of the sternwheeler from America’s riverboat days and carries on a tradition of tour boats on a scenic desert lake that started back in 1925. Roger Grimh purchased the Dolly Steamboat in 1987 and has since turned the business over to his daughter and son to carry on the family business.

Carefree festival of Fine Chocolate-The Town of Carefree will celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend with the 4th Annual Carefree Festival of Fine Chocolates and Fine Art.
The four-day festival runs February 12-15, beginning on Thursday from 12:00 noon till 5:00pm and continuing Friday through Sunday, 10:00am till 5:00pm. The festival takes place at 101 Easy Street, at the Carefree Desert Gardens and the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion.
This free event is fun for the whole family, or the perfect stop before a romantic getaway. Stock up on confectionary treats for your sweethearts and reserve a truffle
or two for later.
With up to 100 exhibitors of fine art, chocolate and other confections, the Carefree Fine Chocolate and Fine Art Festival will satisfy every sweet tooth.
